Our industrial supply chains are seldom transparent, very skewed towards bigger companies and designed to forgo the possibilities of local improvement. This is especially true of agriculture which is a spread-out industry often involving the poorest people on the planet in informal employment.
We want to do better. We want accountable inclusive trades covering the entire supply chain and we want to know everyone involved.
